About Me.
I was always the one with the camera. When I retired I acquired a new Nikon and promoted myself from 'amateur' to 'enthusiast'. Several thousand shots and a host of shared albums later, the idea of creating a website came up. Who is it for? Me obviously. And you hopefully - family, friends, former colleagues, fellow enthusiasts.
What will you find? I try to be inventive with the photos I take be they of places or people, as well as the ones I make (abstractions and manipulations). I find humor in the commonplace and unexpected, and pleasure in discerning structure. I have no pretensions to professional levels of technical or artistic ability. But I hope there's some stuff in here that will appeal to the casual or the interested observer.
